Do you want to contribute to solving one of today's biggest societal challenges?
Do you thrive in an environment characterized by action and social engagement?
The Payment Authority is an innovative agency under development. By working with us, you will help shape an organization that discovers, prevents, and mitigates incorrect payments and welfare fraud. We offer a workplace where you have significant responsibility and the mandate to influence. With us, your skills and engagement make a difference.
Responsibilities and Tasks
As the web manager, you will play a key role in our digital development, responsible for our intranet and external website.
In 2026, we will begin the work of developing a new external website with user-friendly design, relevant content, and improved functionality – and we are looking for you to lead this development.
You will be responsible for developing strategies and, together with our web editor, creating work methods and routines for the websites. The role also includes practical work with structure, publishing, and content. You will be part of the communications function, which currently consists of a communications manager, a web editor, and a part-time graphic designer. We are a small team that values our different specialist roles while working closely together and helping each other where needed. This is a role for you who thrive in a changing environment where not everything is finalized and where you have the opportunity to influence structures, processes, and priorities.
In addition to the above, you will:
- Be responsible for orders and collaborations with contracted web suppliers and other parties.
- Develop management plans for the external website and intranet, as well as materials for further development.
- Create and implement relevant strategy, governance, and support documents for both the external website and intranet.
- Collaborate with the organization, interpret needs, and translate them into digital solutions.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG), user-friendliness, and searchability.
- Be responsible for web analytics, follow up results, and suggest improvements.
- Work operationally in CMS (Sitevision) with content, structure, and quality.
We are looking for someone who has
- Post-secondary education in communication or web development.
- Experience in managing larger web projects.
- At least five years of relevant experience in strategic web work.
- Several years of current experience working in CMS at the administrator level, including publishing.
- Experience in web analytics and web analytics tools.
- Experience working with accessibility requirements (WCAG, DOS law) and how these are applied.
- Experience in setting requirements for suppliers and internal and external partners.
It is advantageous if you also have
- Experience with Sitevision.
- Experience working in the public sector.
- Experience working with UX (User Experience).
- Experience with agile development methods.
Desired Abilities and Skills
To succeed in the role of web manager, you have high personal maturity and are self-driven. You are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. You have the ability to see the big picture and enjoy switching between strategic and operational work. You thrive in an environment where conditions change and not everything is in place.
